Goals, Perseverance, Changing Perception
First we give kudos and congratulations to the St Louis Cardinals for their World Series win and to the St Louis Rams for their first win!
We used these examples to begin our discussion about how to attain goals.
First we need a goal and we need to write it down and focus/think/dream about it every day.
Next we know there will likely be challenges getting in our way attempting to prevent us from accomplishing our goals.
So what we need to do is have perseverance, that quality from deep within ourselves that brings life and energy and the determination to get to the goal.
We then talked a bit about the medical system and diagnosis and how the system tends to take perseverance and hope from us (but you can skip that part of the conversation!)
We got back on track and talked more about how our physical expression is a result of our spiritual/emotional belief system. This part you can listen to!
In this we also pointed out that a team of like-minded co-travelers is very helpful in assisting us toward the place of knowing and accomplishment.
We even talked about how it can apply to agriculture and not just to dis-ease and illness.
So in summary, have your goal, write it down, dream constantly of its fulfillment, persevere, find health and healing.
Until next time,
Go in Health!
Blessings,
Dr Jon

Questions about Health and Healing
Host Michael started out with a question that set the tone for the day’s discussion:
If all I have are a few aches and pains, what do I do to move toward more optimal health?
The answer could be simple if you limit it to the physical realm.
However, we humans are not limited to the physical realm and the answer needs to start with where dis-ease starts.
As Gerald O’Donnell points out, we are holographic expressions of the thought of Father, given the opportunity to express in 3D with sensation and feeling. Our brains are computers which decode thought into what we call “physical reality”.
Just changing the ‘physical reality’ by whatever means does not solve the real problem; one must go back to thought, to subconscious, get close to Father, as Gerald would put it, to energize a new thought so it will express as a change in the physical body.
Most of the show was discussing this. Be sure to listen to get the full “skinny”.
We also talked about the role and need, for teachers/helpers/healers in our journey to health. That dialogue may surprise you!
Toward the end Michael asked specifically about the MAR and we spent a few minutes discussing how simply and directly this tool works on the physical level if you only want to work at that level or if you want to work there while also learning how to work at the deeper levels.
We spent some time on a past show also talking about this. Bottom line:
Clean out the junk, put in the good.
The MAR gives you the information and resources to do both.
We closed with a plug for eating fresh and local and supporting your local organic food producers.
We also pointed out that we are the expression of what we BELIEVE about ourselves, not just what we think or say about ourselves.
Also, the closer you get to Source, to the One, to Father, and the closer you then get to His thought, the more easily energized your thought becomes and the quicker and easier the physical expression of that thought becomes. This works for health and all other aspects of life as well.
Until next week,
Go in health!
Blessings,
Dr Jon

More on Beliefs and Healing, Living Naked
Happy New Year!
Best wishes from the Renegade Doc for a Healing, Healthy, Growing and Prosperous advance in your life as we turn another page on the calendar!
We started off reviewing briefly the concept of last week – how to change belief by wedding thought to emotion to thus change and heal our beliefs and thereby changing our “reality”.
The idea of “Belief” is both huge and popular and it turns out my good friend Chuck Bartok also discussed this as it relates to business on his talkshoe show right before Christmas. Be sure to listen in on the recording!
This idea is also the enthralling and encouraging concept behind the story of Secretariat, the film we saw for the second time last night with friends. I’ve seen and talked about this before, but it is well worth the time and thought!
We then discussed an example, a person with a high frequency hearing loss on the right side only. Not hearing has to do with fear and isolation and turmoil and anger. Even though some of those issues may not be obvious at first thought, knowing that the physical is a reflection of the emotion/spirit provides place to begin to ask questions about these issues. To simply treat the physical is to ignore the deep issues and real causes, but by asking questions about these issues one can begin to open up, become aware, and find true and deep healing.
I love the way Robert Williams of Psych-K describes this link between physical and emotional. He says our physical body and world is a three dimensional printout of our beliefs.
If you notice, most dis-eases have a component of fear or anger or both. It has been said that stress is the major cause of most illness, but I would amend that generality to say that Fear and/or Anger are the major cause of all Stress and Dis-ease.
The next question then is why do we hold on to fear and anger?
Scripture points out that true, real, mature Love casts out Fear, so for whatever reason we are not being and receiving Love.
I personally believe that most of us don’t want to be truly Loved at our deepest Heart; it would change us, feel too good and too freeing. We subconsciously know that our fear has brought us to where we are and though it may cause some problems we are at least comfortable with knowing we can handle it. To let go would put us in a place of not being able to handle something we do not know.
So what do we do?
There are many ways to get there, no doubt, but one technique that has worked for Lester Levinson and now Larry Crane is the Release Technique. Interestingly, the main ingredient in this is to Love! (Who’s surprised??)
I propose that another way – the best way – is to “Live Naked.”
By this I do not mean to be taken over by lust or inappropriate sexual behavior – just the opposite. Rather, “naked” means completely open and vulnerable at all levels: spiritually with Father loving and being loved , mentally with ourselves as we ask the questions about our issues, emotionally with ourselves and others as we admit to how we feel and react, and even physically with ourselves and others without having to play any games, put on any fronts or manipulate other’s ideas about us.
This is a bit Renegade, I admit, but this is how Father first put us on the planet and is His highest and best plan for us. Why settle for less?
Be sure to listen to the show to get the bigger picture, and we will talk more about and delve into this concept more fully in future shows. Hang around, tune in and join the discussion!
Finally, we told the story of a Christmas gift I got, a twisty puzzle, that looks very simple but provides the perfect illustration for how we need to approach life.
Be, Do, Learn.
Until next time, begin to “be” open and “naked” and
Go in Health!
Blessings,
Dr Jon

Healing Beliefs, How Life Works
There was no show last week since my wife and I and all my sibs were in Southern California for the wedding for my nephew, Major Paul Moreshead and Bethany Miles. It was a very delightful time, especially getting to meet and know the bride’s family, even though the rain socked in – and persists in the LA area.
While on the plane traveling, I was privileged to read “The Spontaneous Healing of Belief” by Gregg Braden.
He starts out talking about computers and quantum mechanics and pointing out that life is a Consciousness Computer.
What we BELIEVE determines what our “reality” looks like.
That’s the way Life works!
So turn this around and if you don’t like what your reality looks like, change your belief.
Easier said than done since most of our beliefs are deeply written into our subconscious which makes up 90% of our mental function. Mr. Braden, however, offers some tools that allows you to tap into those beliefs and thus to change them.
Bottom line:
Put the thought of what you want to see happen in your mind (Chakras 7-5). Add the thought and emotion of seeing, feeling, experiencing that desire already completed (Chakras 1-3).
This marriage of thought and emotion creates a BELIEF (Chakra 4 – Heart ).
Do this process, experience the emotion of this completed result at least twice per day and as often as possible, without worrying about the how and why, and soon that belief will manifest itself into “reality”.
Don’t forget to be grateful.
Change your belief, change your reality.
This works for health, wealth, relationships and everything else.
This is the way life works.
(It’s actually what we all do all the time, except we don’t recognize it and we usually have negative beliefs about most things.)
Get the book, practice the process. Start with something simple if you like. Just don’t hesitate to change.
Go in Health,
Blessings,
Dr Jon

Does God Heal Today?
Today we want to pick up where we left off last time. It’s been a couple of weeks due to technical difficulty with the server last week, but here we go.
The question on the table last time when we left the show was:
“Does God Heal Today?”
First we talked about “God” being different than the “God” taught by Christianity and church and standard theology. I prefer to use the term “Father” or some such endearing term for He is Close, Loving, Intimate, Caring, Respectful and Helpful, as pointed out by Darin Hufford in his book, “The Misunderstood God.”
Next we answered the question simply “Yes” and “No”.
We told a story about Malcolm Smith and Miracles of Power and Miracles of Wisdom.
We told the story of Yeshua asking an ill person, “Do you WANT to be healed?”
We talked about Father healing us because He is merciful, because He wants to show us and others He is Present and Cares.
We talked about Father not healing us because He is after something deeper, more important in us.
Bottom line, Father is about transforming us at the HEART level, not just “fixing” our body.
We talked about the fact that there is a LOT of information available that will help us heal if we will only open our minds and hearts to receive it. Much of this is outside the realm of modern medicine because they have blinded themselves to it. Dr. Chopra talks about Awareness, Adam talks about everything being Light, Dr. Pearl talks about frequencies and all of these bring changes in our bodies that we call healing.
Finally we reviewed the argument that the Apostle Paul wasn’t healed, pointing out that he was, usually, healed, even raised from the dead at one point. However, the relationship he had with Father included one issue that he continually dealth with for some other reason. It is not for us to know all the personal details in some person’s life as it relates to Father. It is certainly not a basis upon which to make a theological decree!
In summary, Father is all about restoring Relationship between us and Him, first and foremost. This is what it is all about!
Until next time,
Go in health,
Dr Jon

Renegade Heart Feb 13, 2010
Last evening we had the privilege of attending the “Love & War Tour” of John and Staci Eldredge here in St. Louis, a promotional event for their latest book by the same name (Love & War). John is a bit of a Renegade, as you will have discovered if you have either read any of his works or if you have followed my other blog (links below). His heart is to capture the hearts of men, and women, to see them come alive once again.
Today we highlighted some of the points made at the presentation last evening.
First, Marriage is HARD. (They didn’t sugar coat that part!)
Second, Marriage is a Divine Conspiracy to transform us! Very interesting perspective!
Opposites attract
Brokenness attracts
As a result there will often be conflict and hence the opportunity to transform.
Third, We are in a Romance of Epic proportions set in a War. Hence the title, “Love & War” and not the idea of “war between the sexes.”
There is an enemy
We constantly make agreements with that enemy about our brokenness
Next, The deep aching within us for love and intimacy, for happiness and joy, was placed there by the Loving Father who created us and it can only be filled by intimacy with Him.
He fills that aching by speaking to us in many different ways, often unique to each of us
This intimacy and relationship with Him must be the basis for our personal foundation, self-esteem
and self-worth, our own identity
Our spouse CANNOT give us the intimacy and personal sense of worth for which we long
Again, Each gender offers a unique quality:
A man offers strength
A woman offers beauty
Both do so from their heart and with a lot of vulnerability [translate="nakedness" - Dr J]
If there is not a feeling of risk there is probably not Love.
Next, Transformation comes about from repentance for all the quirks, behaviors and choices we make to protect and cover ourselves, followed by the healing of the pain that prompted it all in the first place.
Transformation goes down through layer after layer to get to the really deep places where core agreements have been made.
Men will send signals to try to draw a woman into his heart. She has to be able and willing to go there and not just want her own thing.
Finally,
It’s all about heart
It’s all about loving
After reviewing the highlights, I made some comments (actually I tended to comment along the way as well!):
I appreciated the presupposition that the deep ache for intimacy within us is the basis of our need for Father and that we are thus seeking fulfillment of who we truly are. This offers growth for us and makes Father the Lover, true to His character and Heart. This is a Renegade approach instead of the common misconception that our need for Father is because of our wickedness and sinfulness which in turn makes Father only a Rescuer and Judge.
The sexual energy inherent in Strength and Beauty and its interplay is what drives this planet, for Good or for Evil. It is the energy source. You can ignore it, exploit it, deny it or use it appropriately. But it does control you and your life depends on it.
Spouses need their own sure identity and have the freedom to tell their spouse to go fix themselves.
Healing needs repentance first – desire to change, willingness to go deep and get naked.
Healing and transformation will result in more and more true nakedness at all levels until we have returned to the place of restoration of Paradise accomplished for us by Yeshua with His redemption of us and his resurrection of first himself and then of us as well.
Trust this is helpful!
