Life, School, Body

Tonight we began with a short discussion about the New Year, the 2012 “Shift” that is coming.  Not a time for fear, rather it is a time to open up, to be inclusive and not exclusive, to live from our heart as we listen to Father.  Gerald O’Donnell speaks a lot about this; be sure to check it out on his website.

This in turn led us into the topic of the evening:

How do we deal with the “bad things” that happen to us, particularly those things that happen to our bodies that leave lasting, deleterious effects.

We tend to ask the question, “Where is God in this?  Why doesn’t He love me any more?”

First we made the point that many or most of us get downright angry at “God” when those bad things happen.

Next we started with 2 presuppositions:

1.  We are actually spirit beings living outside the 3D world in which we find ourselves.

2.  We come to the planet to get “trained” for the realm beyond this 3D world.

That means we are here, in “school.”

At that point we looked at models of learning.  One is sitting behind a desk, using the brain.  Another is involving the entire body in the process, e.g. as in martial arts.

In this model the “teacher” is a master in his own right because of what he has personally endured, earning a huge degree of respect.

This ‘Sifu’ (teacher) looks at each student with a goal for them in mind which will take them through their own issues and weakness.  He accomplishes this goal when the student is willing to immerse himself totally – body, mind, soul – in the process.  And at times the Sifu will actually strike the student, even causing pain, as a means of instructing and developing extreme skill in the student.

All of this is done with insight and compassion for the indivdual, tailored to each one’s needs.

OK, if a human Sifu will put a student throught such extremes for the purpose of growth and development, doesn’t it make sense that Loving Father will also push us beyond our comfort zone, physically, emotionally and spiritually to bring us to a extreme level of growth and development?

Absolutely!

Loving Father is not as concerned with our physical body as He is with our spirit being growing.  And – He invites us into that place where we can think and feel and grow beyond just the physical.

Cohost Michael also asked the question,

Do we need pain to cause change? and we talked about that a bit.  In the middle of that we pointed out that emotional and physical pain is connected.

We then reiterated that if a loving, caring, compassionate master teacher will put us through extreme physical training and pain, won’t our Loving Father do the same for the purpose of Eternal Development?

The question then becomes,

“Did I sign up for this school?”

We think not, but our presupposition is that we came here to the planet on purpose to go to school.  We signed up for this class!

However, the first thing that happens in this school is a bully comes to us and asks, “Is this teacher as good, does he really care as much, as he says he is and does?”

It is easy for us to be overtaken with the doubt and opt to follow the bully.  Unfortunately, we find out often too late that we don’t develop properly and may even be killed when we do follow the bully.

Regardless, the ‘Sifu’, Father offers us the choice of following the bully or of following him.

From there we talked about the fact that Sifu/Father often suggests we do what we are able and doesn’t just or automatically cause us pain.  He wants us to develop but doesn’t want us to either do too much too soon and quit or do only a little and never progress.

Wrapped up in this is the idea that life/Father constantly provides opportunity to change and develop by simple, easy ways before we need to be taught by the more serious, more painful ways.

Bottom line is – our Perception of our Teacher.  Michael pinned it!

“Is Sifu/teacher/Father who He says He is?”

Move past the Doubt of who Father is and just give yourself over to His Teaching, to the point of losing even your body.

No matter what, Loving Father knows and is doing exactly what I need.

This brings us right back to the Garden, back to Eden, choosing either Life and Father or Knowledge and ourselves.

Yeshua modeled for us how to make right choices; we need to follow his example.  And it is all about Dialoguing with Father, as we have so often said before!

Be sure to listen ot the whole show to get the emotion, the passion, the full meaning.

Until next time,

Move past the fear, listen to Father.

Go in Health!

Negativity, 2012 Shift, Connecting to the One

We picked up where we left off last week, talking about the “negatives” in our lives.  Whether events are “positive” or “negative” really depends on our perspective.

We then suggested that perhaps there are no “negatives”.  This would demand a different approach to how we view life in general.

Gerald O’Donnell casts a different light on things with his concept of “The One” and that everything is the One and there is nothing else.  We are all part of his thought Mind, or thought-waves as Walter Russell points out (his material is available from this website.)  Be sure to spend time on Gerald’s website exploring this concept.

In his thinking we are part of a grand experiment where we are given choice or free will to see if we will choose to stay connected or to reconnect with the One.  Meanwhile life is lived in separation, from ourselves, each other and the planet.  We let everything and everything separate us and as a result we end up in conflict, fighting and killing and destroying ourselves, each other and the planet.

Gerald discusses this in an interview he gave this past week; be sure to listen to it.

He pointed out that there is only one way to correct the problems:  Connect to the One (Father, I prefer to call him).  This is what we have talked about frequently on the Renegade Heart Show when we talk about Listening to Father.  The difference is that Connecting to Father is the active form of actually ASKING to dialogue with him.

This connection is also what the “Shift of 2012″ is about, a shift in consciousness, a shift in doing things.  Instead of being separate and killing each other and the planet we will begin to help each other, love each other, and live in harmony.

Walter Russell talks about how Nature works by giving.  As I have thought about that, how would life look differently for us if we lived by Giving instead of by Getting?

We will talk more about that next week and delve further into how all this works out in terms of health and healing as well.

Be sure to listen to the entire show to get the whole context and content.  Again, be sure to listen to Gerald’s interview from this week as well.

Until then,

Connect to Father!

Blessings,

Mindset

We admitted that we had a tough week and cohost Michael was “under the weather”.  The question was, “Are our emotions and reactions to life a function of what is going on outside of us, or in the ‘cosmos’?”  We didn’t really get into a major answer, only some comments, but we did talk about joints.

Joints are a capsule filled with an oily, nutrient rich substance that is under pressure when the joint moves.  It makes sense, then, that when the barometric pressure changes the pressure in the joints change also.  If you feel symptoms in the joints with weather changes, then realize there must be some inflammation.  Knowing this you can then be proactive to move toward health: exercise, take mineral supplements, use chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine.  (Doing the MAR would also point out other problems that may be present so you can deal with them early).

Next we talked about my rough week and the fact that it caused me to reevaluate my core belief system.  I read the book “The Happy Room” by Catherine Palmer and realized that I also, as the characters in the book, have issues with abandonment and disbelieving that parents, and subsequently Father, really don’t care.

I have the mindset that He is supposed to be active with healing and providing for His own in general, and me in particular.

Eventually, thinking about what we have talked about in past shows, and what I know to be true about Father, I realized that He is waiting for me to join with him in “co-creating” (as Gerald O’Donnell would say) what happens in my life.

So then the question became, “How do I/we do that?”

For answers I went right to Source and began looking anew at what Yeshua modeled for us.  Here is what I discovered:

  • Listen.  ”I don’t do anything I don’t see Father doing.”  ”Father and I are of one mind.”
  • Think differently, upside down, backwards.  The Baptizer used the word “Repent” and Yeshua submitted himself to that concept.
  • Be – Loved and KNOW it.  Make it the basic belief about ourselves.
  • Settle the temptation to be the one in control.
  • Give

I’m sure there are other principles/actions as well, which well be clear as we spend more time looking at the model Yeshua left for us.  Stay tuned.  Join in the discussion.

Fathers

We first read a short excerpt provided by one of our listeners about last week’s topic, “More”.  This  was  from the book “Sacred Romance” by Brent Curtis and John Eldredge, on the idea of ‘Holy Longing’.  Thanks to you listeners for your interaction!

We then, in honor of the day today – Fathers Day – began a discussion about Fathers.

With cohost Michael’s help we first defined Fathers as those people who were tasked with the responsibility of providing a place of nurturing for the “sprouts”, just as one would nurture the soil and earth as we have discussed in recent shows.

Then we went into the ‘negative’ side for a bit and pointed out that most Fathers have failed in some way.  This problem with Fathers is rampant in our society as evidenced by the fact that most movies and literature revolves in some way around Fathers who don’t nurture well enough and the subsequent effect it has on the children.  [We also noted along the way that the children also have some choice in their perspective of the Fathering.]

It was brought to our attention that when we as children have a moment of greater awareness and realize that the failure of our Fathers was at least in part due to their own problems and issues and failure of their fathers, we have the opportunity to bring some forgiveness, providing us with a chance to grow.

One response to this is also to purpose to become better Fathers ourselves.

But that begged the questions:

How do we become better Fathers?
CAN we break the cycle?

To find the answers we first had to realize that the problem began at the beginning when we humans decided to disconnect from the Life, Love and Nurturing from the “Great Father”, the One, Source, the Creator, and go it on our own.

When we do “it” (live life) by our own knowledge, strength and intuition, we fall short because we do not get the Life, Love and Nurturing that our being totally craves.  It’s like our cells not getting enough oxygen or blood to fully survive.  We walk around starved and anorexic.

This results in the inability to become the Fathers we are intended to be, or the people we are meant to become.

The answers to the questions:

Can we can break the cycle.

Yes. Absolutely.

How do we become better Fathers (people):

Reconnect to the Life. Love and Nurturing that the One Father is offering us, begging for us to accept, waiting for us to flow into, and has even provided the example and power for us to do so.

The example and means was provided to us by Yeshua who came directly from Father for the express purpose to reconnect us to Life, Love and Nurture.  He chose to live by no other means and proclaimed at the end that he successfully did so, restoring the way for the rest of us.

We then got a bit practical.

Living at that level of Life, Love and Nurture means that “Love” is at a high vibration way above just “sex”.  That level of Love means we can be naked and unashamed with Father, ourselves and others, living openly and freely, helping each other.  Sex takes only a very small yet important but very special place in the whole picture.

Living at that level of Life, Love and Nurture means that “Money” is not about working and cash and paying for things.  Rather it is a measure on our Worth and Value.  It is part of the flow which we enter, receiving on the one hand and generously giving on the other, rewarding others for service, reflecting their value to us.

Life here on the planet is supposed to be lived at this high level of Connection to Father, breathing in Him, nutriented by Him, in the flow of his Life, Love and Nurture.  He is the Great Father and as we connect, we also will be Fathered and Fathers.

Happy Fathers Day!

Bessings,

Why ‘More’?

We continued from last week’s discussion about “Nurturing”, with co-host Michael’s question:

After I have nurtured myself, the soil, the planet and others and achieve some level of good and improving health, why do I still want ‘MORE’?

We pointed out that when Father put us on the planet he did so as an expression of Himself, so that he could Experience or Feel in a physical way, through us.  Gerald O’Donnell talks about this quite a bit.

Interestingly, quantum biologists such as Candace Perl, a leader in the field, state that our bodies PRIMARY function and operation is to FEEL.

We also pointed out that each and every cell in our bodies is connected at a level beyond the obvious physical ones such as blood vessels and nerves via a high level of orchestration that some call Consciousness.

Likewise, as the “Body of God”, the physical expression of His thought and desire, each of us is also to be connected to His Consciousness, to be orchestrated and synchronized for growth and health.

Failure of this connection and orchestration at the level of our physical body results in dis-ease and possibly cancer.

Failure of this connection and orchestration at the level of Spirit, at the level of communication with the mind and Consciousness of Father will also result in a dis-ease of universal proportion.

Father set this all up in the Garden of Eden and at the same time gave us Choice to either stay connected and listen and be orchestrated together or to go our own way, having to figure things out on our own.

The serpent entered and struck directly at this connection, knowing that if the connection could be broken, the eventual result would be the death of this plan and desire of Father to have a physical expression.

So in that context we spent the hour (plus) talking about the ramifications of our choice to go it on our own and how to get back to being directed and connected.  It is this need and “Divine DNA” within each of us that, like Father, always wants ‘More’.  Not a bad thing; this is the way it is supposed to be.

You’ll enjoy the discussion.  Be sure to listen and add your comments.

Until next time,

Go in Health!  Get connected, be part of the orchestration, not the cancer.

Nurturing

Discussion today revolved around the topic of “Nurturing”.

We pointed out, again, that we are energy beings expressed, condensed, into physical form (E=mc2).  Michael pointed out that we are also not just watching the movie (our analogy from last week) but are also 3D participants IN the movie.  As such, any energy put into our energy will raise the expression to a higher level. Conversely, energy detracted from our energy will bring our expression to a lower level.

Nurturing is the act of adding energy to a system.  Its form can be anything since it is the energy being added that does the nurturing.  So an encouraging word, a simple act of kindness, an offering of love in some way will be nurturing and will result in a good feeling, an improvement in well-being.

We pointed out that Source, the One, Creator, Father is, indeed, the source of all energy, and hence the source of each of us and He is also defined as Love which is the highest form of energy.

We discussed nurturing of other people and talked about the connotations surrounding the word “love” and “nurturing”.

We also talked about nurturing other than people, beginning with the planet.  Gerald O’Donnell points out, not from a “green” perspective but from a quantum perspective, that Planet Earth is our Mother and we must truly nurture her.

We talked about nurturing animals and the circle of love, including respecting and honoring them when they give themselves for our benefit.

We talked about nurtuing relationships and even read from Shakespeare!  Katharina’s soliloquy at the end of the Taming of the Shrew is a perfect explanation of how Father is to be responded to in his relationship with us.

Throughout, we were reminded that there is a syngery that occurs when more than one person adds their energy to a situation resulting in an expression that is greater than the sum of the whole.

Finally, we talked about some practical means of nurturing ourselves for without that, nurturing of others is not; it will only subtract from our energy and result in a lower, less healthy, physical expression.

Listen and enjoy the discussion, being sure to leave your comments, and join in to the discussion next week.  We look forward to having you.

Until then,

Go in Health!

Higher Self, Living in Connection

Japan is not out of the woods yet. Continue to remember and support them.

We picked up from last week as promised, discussing the “Higher Self”.

First we pointed out that nearly all if not every religious and/or philosophical approach has some concept or reference to some type of Higher existence or part of us.

Then we got some input on questions like ”Who”, ”Where”, “What is the role of the Higher Self”.  Our host Michael joined in with some ideas and we had some input from a blog posting by Erin Povlina as well.

Part of Michael’s response brought in the concept of “God” and we explored for a bit why any reference to Higher Self seems to immediately draw in the concept of an All-Knowing, All-Loving Higher One.  We suggested that the teaching about Higher One is not simply part of the teachings but reflects the fact of the presence of the Higher One.

We then put all of this in context with the analogy of the human body with cells of various types and functions all connected to a higher consciousness (our Higher Self?) overseeing all of it.  Any cell that fails to respond becomes either a dried up useless “extra” that is expelled or, worse, an independent, out of control cancer that eventually needs to be restored or removed.

In this context our existence then becomes a reflection of the Consciousness of Father God with the extra variable of Choice thrown in.  We also paused long enough to point out that Consciousness is not just an energy but is the energy of LOVE.

We have the choice to live in life, completely connected to Father’s orchestration of each of us as his various cells (using the human body as an analogy, a reflection of Father’s thought), each living and functioning in its own way, completely connected to Father and to each other, naked (no barriers) and unashamed (not comparing ourselves to others, happy in our own purpose), while also living in “organs” (community) helping each other.

Or we have the choice to live in knowledge, trying on our own to figure things out and control things, but in doing so being disconnected from Source, Father.

We talked about how the Scripture story of the Garden of Eden is the blueprint of Father’s heart and thus our goal.  Our bad choice, however, put a barrier in the way of connectedness which Yeshua came and removed, opening the way once again to be in that place of flowing in consciousness, of living in Love.

We attempted to make some practical applications to daily life, health and dis-ease, life and purpose.

Finally we discussed the answer to last week’s question about why we stay in the negative instead of in the flow of the positive.  One approach that I like a lot is Gerald O’Donnell’s analogy of the Dark Matrix, his way of explaining the barrier that Father placed at the end of the Garden story.

Be sure to listen to the whole thing to get the full context and dialogue.  We may have saved the best until last when we talked about Love and Choice and that Love has choice inherently built in.

Also enjoy the interaction with our new host, Michael – you’ll love him!

Thought, Richness and Creation

It’s really hard to get away from the thoughts of Gerald O’Donnell of ARVARI because he makes so much sense, explains things so well from a larger perspective and, in spite of the esotericism, actually gets very practical.

So we didn’t get away from those thoughts today, but went back over some of them.

First:

THOUGHT IS THE DIVINE CREATIVE POWER OF THE UNIVERSE.

That is true not only for Father. Creator, but for you and me as well.  That is how our life works.  What we think about comes to be.

So here’s a different perspective from Mr. O’Donnell: Don’t just ‘think and grow rich’ but rather ‘think about the richness or your thoughts.’

Second:

WE ALWAYS CREATE WHAT WE FEAR AND ARE ANXIOUS ABOUT.

What to do?  Get rid of the fear first (detox your brain and emotions) then replace it with the “good brain nutrition” of love and positive thoughts.

[Mr. O'Donnell has training courses that do that effectively, though he is quick to say there are other ways as well.  I am enjoying using his courses.]

What is different and powerful about what Mr. O’Donnell is teaching is that it’s not just words about positive thinking and repeating affirmations.  Rather, it is a technique and an understanding about going deep within ourselves, using our deep subconscious and tapping into Father’s Mind and Heart for us.

It is tapping into, receiving and (hopefully) acting upon what we have in the past called intuition of the sixth sense.

Better yet, this can be applied to financial markets, health, and any other endeavor in life.

In fact, the point is made that in the markets we only trade ourself.  In other words, our thoughts about ourselves controls the market and our results reflect that self esteem or lack thereof.

This also is true about any endeavor in life.

Interesting.  But only what quantum physics tells us.

My goal is to simplify and make Mr. O’Donnell’s thoughts a bit more readable and understandable, but listen, read, think for yourself.  Get the training, practice, become more deeply aware.

Your life and the life of the planet actually depend on us growing to this level.  The shift from Fear to Love, from Separation to Unity, from Individual to One-ness is on.

Let’s shift our Thoughts and Actions to match.

Until next time,

Go in Health!

Does God Heal Today?

Today we want to pick up where we left off last time.  It’s been a couple of weeks due to technical difficulty with the server last week, but here we go.

The question on the table last time when we left the show was:

“Does God Heal Today?”

First we talked about “God” being different than the “God” taught by Christianity and church and standard theology.  I prefer to use the term “Father” or some such endearing term for He is Close, Loving, Intimate, Caring, Respectful and Helpful, as pointed out by Darin Hufford in his book, “The Misunderstood God.”

Next we answered the question simply “Yes” and “No”.

We told a story about Malcolm Smith and Miracles of Power and Miracles of Wisdom.

We told the story of Yeshua asking an ill person, “Do you WANT to be healed?”

We talked about Father healing us because He is merciful, because He wants to show us and others He is Present and Cares.

We talked about Father not healing us because He is after something deeper, more important in us.

Bottom line, Father is about transforming us at the HEART level, not just “fixing” our body.

We talked about the fact that there is a LOT of information available that will help us heal if we will only open our minds and hearts to receive it.  Much of this is outside the realm of modern medicine because they have blinded themselves to it.  Dr. Chopra talks about Awareness, Adam talks about everything being Light, Dr. Pearl talks about frequencies and all of these bring changes in our bodies that we call healing.

Finally we reviewed the argument that the Apostle Paul wasn’t healed, pointing out that he was, usually, healed, even raised from the dead at one point.  However, the relationship he had with Father included one issue that he continually dealth with for some other reason.  It is not for us to know all the personal details in some person’s life as it relates to Father.  It is certainly not a basis upon which to make a theological decree!

In summary, Father is all about restoring Relationship between us and Him, first and foremost.  This is what it is all about!

Until next time,

Go in health,

Dr Jon
